English speaking photographer in Rome
Hi! I’m Sergey
Photographing people is my passion, I love capturing unique and raw emotion, see the smiles of the people when they see themselfs in the pictures I create. Building a connection with a person with the help of my camera is something that keeps inspiring me and encourages to be creative. I trully believe that creativity is life, seeing the world from a different perspective, seeing details that others don’t is the key to a fuller, richer life and neverending source of inspiration. I study cinema at the Sapienza University in Rome where I master my storytelling and a cinematic eye for the images I create.
My style has been described as creative, fun, engaging and relaxed. In order to take beautiful portraits it is important to create a relaxed environment and I accomplish this by engaging into conversations, paying close attention to the smallest details, being easygoing and fun. There are numerous times when I ended up eating a slice of pizza or having a beer with my clients after a shoot and becoming friends.
People that inspire me: David Lynch, Federico Fellini, Luis Bunuel, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Jasujiro Ozu, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Sandro Botticelli, Vincent van Gogh, Edgar Degas, Anton Chekhov, Ernest Hemingway
